Transactions

A financial transaction is an agreement or communication, carried out between a buyer and a seller to exchange an asset for payment. It involves a change in the status of the finances of two or more businesses or individuals A transaction is any kind of action involved in conducting business, or an interaction between people. Accoxi enables the user to record all kinds of business transactions that are involved in the firm.

  • It provides the complete details of transactions involved in the business. 
  • Users can record the transactions and can filter the transaction data when it requires. 
  • It shows various types of transactions include Sales invoice, Purchase Invoice, Credit note, Bills, Customer payment, Supplier payment, Contra, Receipt, Payment, etc. 
  • It provides the ledger view option and shows the ledger balance of every transaction. 
  • Users can export the transaction data in to excel format.

Click the Accounts module and select Transactions.

When user click on Transactions, it opens in to Accounts search.

      

Accounts Search

Accounts search consist of various menus and it shows the details of all the transactions that involved with the firm. It shows the transaction date, transaction type, amount, debit and credit ledger.

Filter

The filter of transactions can be done in two ways-Either you can directly enter the transaction type into the search bar near the filter option or by clicking the filter dropdown.

Users can filter the data by transaction type, ledger name, ref no, by canceled, or by the date.  If the transaction data can filter by using the date format, need to enter the starting date and the end date of the transactions. Data filter by transaction type include sales invoice, purchase invoice, bills, debit notes, credit notes, etc.

 

        

 

Refresh

If the latest data is not displayed, click on the refresh icon on the top left corner of the page to fetch   the new data.

 

            

 

Export

The transaction list can be export to Excel format. Click the Export button at the top right corner near the +New button. Select the file location and click on save.

 

 

Ledger View

User can view the ledger details of the transaction by clicking on the + menu on the left side of the tab.

 

               

 

View

View menu enable the user to view the invoice of particular transaction that already created.

 

      

 

Settings

This menu include edit function and if the user want to edit the created form, it can done by using this menu. After clicking the Edit option, invoice form will appear on the screen.

 

 

Pagination control

It controls the page navigation and the page size. Page size can be set to 10, 20, 50 or 100. And by giving page number in the box and clicking on Go button. It jumps to the said page.

01Can I export the Transactions data in to Excel format? How can I do it?

Yes, you can export the Transactions data in to excel format.

  • Click on the Transactions in Accounts Module and it opens Transactions page.
  • Transactions search consist of various menus including Export menu.
  • Click on the export menu on top right side of the page.
  • New tab will appear for save the file. You can select the location to save the file.
  • Click on save button to save the data in Excel format.

02What is the use of Filter menu in the Transactions?

Filter menu enable you to filter the Transactions data by transaction type, reference number, by cancelled, draft, transactions, or by the date.  If the transaction data can filter by using the date format, need to enter the starting date and the end date of the transactions. Data filter by transaction type include contra, journal, payment, receipt or all.

03Is it possible to edit a Transaction? How it can be edit?

  • Click on the Accounts Module and select the option Transactions.
  • Transactions page opens and it consist of various menus, options and it shows all the created transactions data.
  • Click on the more options menu on the right hand side of the transaction and select the option Edit.
  • It redirects to transaction form and you can make the edit
  • click on Update option to save.

04How can I view a particular voucher under Transactions?

  • Click on the Accounts Module and select the option Transactions.
  • Transactions page opens and it consist of various menus, options and it shows all the created transactions data.
  • There is a View icon on the right hand side of the transactions data table. Click on the view icon to view the transaction. It redirects to the particular transaction view.
