In acooxi, the user can record bank transactions like banking transfer, deposits, and withdrawals. It helps the user to handle banking and business activities more efficiently or quickly.

Click on the Accounts module and select the Bank Transfer option.

When clicking on the bank transfer option, it opens into a new transfer form.

Ref Number

The reference number helps the user to add a unique no to the transaction. It will be automatically generated and the user cannot edit the same.


Instrument type

Users need to select an instrument type. It includes cash, bank transfer, cheque, etc. The user needs to enter the instrument number, instrument date, and bank name in the case of every instrument type payment excluding cash payment.



The date will automatically appear on the date field and it may be the current date. If the user wants to change the date, it can be done by clicking on the date menu and can be selecting the required date.

Party Name

User can enter a party name on this field.

From Bank Account

Users can select a bank account on this field and the amount will transfer from the selected bank. 

If the user wants to create a new bank with a bank name, then it can be done with this page. Users can add or create a new bank name by clicking the menu + on the right side of the bank account option.


Bank Name

I f the user selects instrument type cash, then not need to enter the bank name on this field. Users need to enter the bank name details based on instrument type excluding in the case of cash.



Instrument Number

The user needs to enter the instrument number in the case of every instrument type Banking transfer excluding cash transfer.


Instrument Date

The user needs to enter the instrument date in the case of every instrument type transfer excluding cash.


To Account

Users can select the To Bank account on this field and the amount will transfer to the selected bank. By clicking on the field, created Bank accounts will appear and the user can select the required one.


Here user can add additional remark regarding the bank transfer.


Enter the required amount that the user wants to transfer to this field..


This menu helps the user to delete the unnecessary entered account details from the row.

Save as Draft

After entering the transfer details, the user can save the bank transfer form as a draft. If the user selects the draft format, then the user can select it from the accounts transactions and can verify it again or can edit before it saves as a voucher.


Save as Voucher

Users can save the created Bank transfer form as a voucher by clicking the menu Save as Voucher.



 The clear menu is for clear or removing the entire data that entered by the user.



Exit menu is using to go to the previous page without saving the Bank transfer form..





After saving the Banking transfer form, the Accounts Search page will appear on the screen, a saved form will appear on Accounts Search and the user can view or edit the created transfer form. 


Accounts search includes various menus and it shows all kinds of transaction details here.  It shows the transaction date, transaction type, ref no, debit ledger, credit ledger, amount, and status.




The user can filter the Bank Transfer details in two ways. Either can directly enter the transaction type into the search bar near the filter option or by clicking the filter menu.

By clicking the filter option, the user can filter the data by transaction type, ledger name, ref no, by date, etc.


If the user wants to filter the bank transfer data, then need to click on the Transaction Type and select the option Contra. After selecting the type click on the apply button to get bank transaction details

Ledger view

 Users can view the ledger details of the bank transfer by clicking on the menu on the left side of the tab.



If the latest data is not displayed, click on the refresh icon on the top right side of the page to fetch the new data.



The bank transfer list can be export to Excel format. Click on the Export button at the top right corner below the refresh menu. Select the file location and click on save.



This menu helps the user to view the created bank transfer form.    



This menu includes edit function and if the user wants to edit the created transfer form, it can be done by using this menu. After clicking the Edit option, the bank transfer form will appear on the screen.  



Pagination Control

It controls the page navigation and the page size. Page size can be set to 10, 20, 50, or 100. And by giving page number in the box and clicking on the Go button. It jumps to the said page

  • Click on the Accounts Module => select Bank Transfer
  • By clicking on the Bank Transfer option, it opens in to Banking Transfer
  • Enter instrument type which is cheque, cash, DD etc.  Enter party name  Select the bank account , Enter bank name ,Enter the instrument number and date , Enter narration
  • Enter the “From Account” where the cash is going out from bank and enter amount and save as voucher

Go to Accounts Module and under Transactions head the Bank Transfer vouchers can be viewed.

03How do I save Bank Transfer as draft?

  • Go To Accounts Module => Bank Transfer
  • Enter Details.
  • Click on save as draft at the bottom of the page
  • User can save the Banking Transfer as draft for further alterations and can convert to voucher later


04How do I delete an entry in the Banking Transfer?

You cannot delete a transaction once created. It can only be cancelled.

05How do I add new ledger in Banking Transfer window?

  • Go to Accounts Module => Banking Transfer
  • Use the + button near to the “from Bank Account” column to add new ledger
  • After creating the ledger, open the Bank Transfer tab and refresh the “To Bank Account”, inorder to view the latest ledger name.
